Kindra has been teaching French and Spanish for 29 years. She has taught all levels K-grade 12 AP including French immersion kindergarten and elementary Spanish. She is an instructor at the University of Victoria and has taught there for over 24 years teaching in the Department of Education. Kindra has also worked for various publishers over the years and is an author for Pearson Education.
Kindra has extensive experience working at the BC Ministry of Education also working as a Curriculum writer, Provincial Exam Marking Chair and Assessment Development Team, and Learning Resource Evaluator. She has presented at many conferences over the years including CASLT, BCATML, and OMLTA. She is also the Vice President for BCATML and the Treasurer for BCLCA. In addition to classroom teaching in the Saanich school district she is the District Coordinator for Core French and Modern Languages and Director of Assessment at Claremont . At the University of Victoria Kindra has taught Assessment courses in the Faculty of Education for many years.
