    Beverley Ellis

    Bev is an award winning professional artist who has spent more than 20 years

    working with school students and teachers. She is Passionate about Igniting,

    Inspiring, Equipping and Encouraging others through art engagement and

    instruction. Bev has given workshops for conferences, such as the Canadian

    Federation For Children, and the Elementary School teachers Association,

    PITA, and more. She has been Artist in residence in schools, and designed

    and taught in school and after school Art programs. Bev has taught art in

    Elementary Schools, High-schools, Middle schools, Art Gallery Centres, and

    on line. She enjoys partnering with teachers, and has led many Professional

    Development Day Art Workshops. She teaches drawing, painting, printmaking,

    pastels, watercolours, acrylics, collage, mixed media and ceramics.


    Bev's favourite muse is nature, where often beauty

    is found in brokenness. She has created large sculptural ceramic installations,

    including a Sculpture for VanCity, and for North Vancouver City Hall. She received

    the last SSICA Ceramics Biennial Peoples Choice Award. Published

    in Artist Journals and Books, Bev has had opportunities to exhibit throughout the

    Province, across Canada, and the US. Her artwork is sold in Galleries and

    Museums, and is in corporate and private collections around the world.
