Coding Quest

The Coding Quest Program from The Learning Partnership has been running in SD61, 62 and 63 for the last two years.  This session is an introduciton to the program resources and materials. 

We will do some "hands on" programming with Scratch 3.0 with the goal of devleoping skills for video game develepment.

Teachers who have already registered with TLP and those who are interested are welcome to join us for this session.

  • Mike Silverton

    Mike has been providing professional development and in-service to teachers for over 25 years.  He has taught from elementary to the graduate level and has a wide range of experience to draw upon to provide enriching workshops for all.  With 12 years as a Technology Coordinator for a large school district, a technology consultant and member of the ADST Curriculum Writing Team he has many insights on ways to integrate technology.  Mike is the current Past-President of the Computer Using Educators of BC PSA. (CUEBC) and a Program Manager for The Learning Partnership.
