Graphic Novels & Mental Health

As educators, it has never been more important to teach about mental illness, mental health, and wellness strategies. What better way to do this than by using a graphic novel? Students are so intrigued by visual media, and it's a great way to get them reading and interested. Even if you don't know much about comics, this workshop will give you the basics to teach using graphic novels, topics to explore, and recommended comics to use in high school classrooms.
