  • Janet Krenz

    Janet is an Island Health Dietitian in the Cowichan Valley. She is passionate about growing and enjoying food. She believes that what we eat has a powerful influence on our physical and mental well-being. She has been working with schools for many years and is familiar with evidence-based nutrition education resources. She is grateful for the work of teachers and school staff in supporting child & youth health, and is excited about this opportunity to connect and engage.

  • Janelle Hatch

    Janelle lives, works and plays on the lands of the Lekwungen speaking peoples, now known as the Songhees and Esquimalt First Nations.  Janelle is a parent of 2 school-age children and is a registered dietitian working with the Healthy Schools program in Island Health.  She believes strongly that health and food literacy are essential for every day living and sees schools and educators as a key partner in enhancing these areas of literacy for young people in our community.
