Science Venture has been delivering hands-on STEM education for 31 years. Supported through the faculties of Engineering, Science, and Education, our MakerLab is located in the Science - Education wing of the MacLaurin Building. We invite you to come spend time in our facility, discuss how our Makerspace works, and find ways you can include maker-space concepts at your school, or improve your existing maker lab. We are excited to compare notes, best practices, and generate new ideas for all.
We will also be sure to include the opportunity to “level up” some skills, depending on the group composition and interest. This could be practice with 3D modeling, peripherals for Micro:bits, “EcoSTEM” content, or other such as pure-science. Educators will be able to take home lesson plans from a variety of STEM content.
Complimentary parking and snacks provided.
