Meeting the Challenge -- Dealing with book challenges in the Library Learning Commons

As teacher-librarians, we are subject to book challenges more than we have ever been. What should you do when you have a challenge? How should you react? Is there anything in place to help? In this interactive presentation, we'll discuss those questions and--better yet--we'll talk about how to prepare for possible challenges. Let's talk about censorship versus curation, protecting students' freedom to read, and how we can help each other in difficult situations locally, provincially, and nationally.
