Drop in and join this online workshop to explore the variety of Financial Literacy programs and resources offered free of charge by JA British Columbia. JA British Columbia's hands-on, interactive financial-health programs expose young people to smart saving and investing, thoughtful spending and credit, the role of taxes, the value of employment and community involvement, and the opportunities of global trade. The workshop will introduce the following: More than Money: Grades 4-5, Dollars with Sense: Grades 7-9, Economics for Success: Grades 8-10, Investment Strategies: Grades 10-12, and Personal Finance: Grades 11-12.

    Glenn Dodge

    Glenn Dodge is the Program Director for Elementary programs for JA British Columbia. Based in Victoria, Glenn has worked with JABC for the past five years. Prior to joining JABC, Glenn was the director of BC programs for the Justice Education Society in Vancouver. This role came after eight years of working overseas on human rights projects in Nigeria, Bangladesh, Tajikistan, Cameroon and Laos. He has just published a book of these experiences and the misadventures of living abroad.

    Tina Johal

    Tina Johal is a Program Manager supporting the High School programs at JA British Columbia.  Based in Sunny Tsawwassen, Tina has worked with JABC for the past year and a half.  Prior to working at JABC, Tina was Program Assistant for the Aviation Operations and Technical programs at the Aerospace campus of BCIT.  Tina has always been very passionate about supporting youth in their educational journeys and through her work at JABC, she hopes to inspire and prepare them to be successful, financially-literate leaders of tomorrow.   Outside of work, Tina enjoys reading and writing and is a published Children’s Author.
