How to be a behaviour detective? Understanding and managing classroom challenges

This workshop is designed to help school team members identify, investigate, and address various behaviour challenges they commonly encounter in their classroom. At the end of the workshop, participants should be able to identify various factors that might contribute to behaviour challenges as well as different strategies to prevent and/or manage them.

  • Provincial Outreach Program for Autism and Related Disorders
    Bernardus Larryant

    Bernardus Larryant is an Education and Behaviour Consultant for the Provincial Outreach Program for Autism and Related Disorders (POPARD). His role includes consulting and collaborating with school teams across the province in supporting students with autism spectrum disorder. His background is as a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA). He holds a M. A. degree in Special Education, with a specialization in Autism and Developmental Disabilities from the University of British Columbia.
