Learning in Depth

"Boredom is a product of ignorance. The more you know about something, the more interesting it becomes." Kieran Egan

Learning in Depth (lid) is a program aimed at engaging students' imaginations and emotions by allowing them to spend their elementary and secondary school years focusing in-depth on one topic. It is designed to ensure that all students become experts about something during their school years. Simple to set up and facilitate, it allows students to build confidence, while learning about the nature of knowledge. It is a great asset to the curriculum and school experience.
