Mathematics and Magic
I will present a series of card tricks and mental mathematics tricks, and even some "I can read your mind" tricks! Every "trick" has a math or pattern reason why it works. I give you the proof of each "trick".

Wayne Loutet
Started teaching in Vancouver in 1970. Have taught almost every course in the BC Math curriculum over the past 52 years, in both public and private schools. I coached over 80 school teams in Rugby, Basketball and Track & Field. Have written computer programs to run self-paced schools of up to 1400 students. Have written an online course on the "History of Mathematics" for grade 11 and grade 12 students.
